While technically Thursday isn't a weekend day for most of us, it's still a good time to start planning those epic adventures as our regular Lord of the Rings Online contributor, Vengar is doing. He writes in: I was thinking about the weekend upcoming and how many of us will be running into our favorite game worlds this weekend when I snapped this pic of my lvl50 Champion Vengar, 'The Just' from the Nimrodel server running into Middle-earth as he finds a beautiful sun setting over Bree after a long day of questing. This screenshot really encapsulates a whole bunch of ugly from Lord of the Rings Online. It certainly looks like today's One Shots submitter, Vengar, had one heck of a battle on his hands - or head, as the case may be! He writes in to explain this wild screenshot: Late one night while in Lord of the Rings Online my champion Vengar from Nimrodel server got the 'go protect the stranded/embattled npc' type quest. So I ran off, thinking he would be good protection for anyone....well I was wrong. The ground started to shake, and before I knew it, three very mad giants were stomping the guy I was supposed to be protecting into the ground. They turned on me and evidently thought it would be funny to just squish my head into ooze. For a couple [of] nights, I had dreams about human head-ooze loving giants chasing me.

Screens like this certainly show off why Lord of the Rings Online remains a steady favorite for people to send in! Many adventurers in Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online likely know this lovely cold area. Speaking with Gloin will land you a quest to go speak to the scouts outside of Helegrod, where even more fun and adventure ensues as players follow the quest arc. Today's snowy One Shot was sent in to us by Velen, who snagged this screenshot just as he was preparing to ascend the Bitter Stair and find the scouts.

While we may not yet have persistence in our MMOGs yet, we do have a lot of fun and epic-feeling encounters! Today's One Shots illustrates one such great moment from Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online that was sent in to us by Vengar. Of the scene, he writes: [This is] Aragorn holding the flame of the west sword after Vengar and his band restored the ancient blade to him. Definitely a fun moment to have in your own personal story.
