Turbine continues with their ongoing Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria teasers through this week's newest batch of official screenshots. This time we get to see some great shots from The Waterworks area, located in the southwestern-most region of the Mines of Moria. Plus, we get treated to a few more shots from The Flaming Deeps, located just to the east of it. Both of these regions are considered moderate-to-difficult from what we've experienced in the beta, and these screenshots do a great job of showing just a few of the areas' features.

With the recent redesign of Lord of the Rings Online's main website in anticipation of the upcoming Mines of Moria expansion, we get treated to more than just a pretty new blue theme. We get Moria pre-order information, The Treasures of Moria contest and an expansion to the Hero's Guides started just last month.

In this newest Hero's Guide, Moria's Flaming Deeps are explored and described in great detail, to give players a better idea of what they will face upon arrival. We get the backstory of how the area was settled first by Dwarves, and ultimately conquered by the Orcs. The ongoing struggle to win back this segment of the mines plays host to several exciting questlines that include rebuilding the bridges and armaments in preparation for the war with the Orcs and thinning out the Orc numbers to stop them from being a threat to the once-great Dwarven civilization. Turbine has released yet another teaser trailer for their Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria expansion coming this fall, and this time it focuses on The Flaming Deeps. This area is in the southern part of Moria, and home to many of the region's scariest Trolls, Goblins and Orcs. You can download it now from Massively's sister site Big Download!

Expanding upon the walkthrough information we got on this area at PAX, this video shows a bit more of what to expect from these fiery caverns. We get a look at the gorgeous Dwarven architecture, their unique lighting system and the monstrous trolls that work the forges of The Flaming Deeps. These trolls are actually chained to a series of rails through the forge area to keep them on track with their specific job duties that basically consist of carrying the heavy stuff.
