	<a href="http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.220723800/parentCategoryID.35156900/categoryId.52829000"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/massively.joystiq.com/media/2011/05/anansi-review-epl-510.jpg" style="border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; margin: 4px;" /></a></div>
When I first heard about the <a href="http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.220723800/parentCategoryID.35156900/categoryId.52829000">Razer Anansi</a>, I was beyond excited. Razer had, after all, made the supremely excellent <a href="http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169418900/parentCategoryID.35208800/categoryId.54536600">Naga</a> specifically for MMOs, and the Naga is as close to a perfect peripheral as has ever been made. (The original wasn't wireless, which is a big deal for some people, but it doesn't bother me -- and there's a wireless version out now anyway.) I was pretty much certain that the same team working on a keyboard would produce the ultimate one-two punch for online gaming accessories.<br />
<br />
Sadly, the Anansi isn't the Naga. And therein lies its biggest fault -- you can't help but compare the two products, and the keyboard comes up short. It isn't a bad keyboard, but it lacks what made the Naga so excellent, and for the several things that it gets right it also manages to get a couple of things wrong. Without a doubt, it's going to serve better than the stock keyboard that comes with a new computer, but it's far from a must-have addition to your hardware.<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/05/12/a-hands-on-with-the-razer-anansi/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>A hands-on with the Razer Anansi</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/05/12/a-hands-on-with-the-razer-anansi/">A hands-on with the Razer Anansi</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Thu, 12 May 2011 14:00:00 EST. Unlike what you typically imagine when you hear the term <a href="http://www.secondlifeinsider.com/2007/07/12/3dconnexions-spacenavigator/">'3D peripheral'</a>, this mouse looks much more down-to-earth. There's no gimbals, you don't suspend your hand in an industrial-looking contraption; there are just buttons that act as 3D spatial manipulators. To turn right, for instance, you twist buttons on either side of the mouse to the right. This has the advantage of being much more intuitive.<br /><br />But does it work? I'm interested in trying this out, but wonder if the software this thing will ship with will be compatible with your favorite 3D worlds and games. If there isn't support for such a thing, then it's just a new mouse with extra buttons that don't do anything. If anyone within the sound of my voice is at CES right now, go find this thing at <a href="http://www.sandiotech.com/">Sandio</a>'s booth at South Hall 225519!<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.mercextra.com">Mercextra</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2008/01/07/ces-sandios-3d-mouse/">CES: Sandio's 3D mouse</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 07 Jan 2008 19:00:00 EST. For those of you deeper into the gaming scene, no doubt you have put down some cold, hard cash every now and then for a gaming peripheral. A steering wheel to make you better at racing games, a customizable keyboard to boost your kill:death ratio, or maybe a weighted mouse to give you that better feel. That's exactly what this <a href="http://www.wolfkingusa.net/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=9&amp;Itemid=7">WolfKing Warrior</a> is.<br /><br />Just looking at it straight out of the box, one is likely to assume "Oh, I can just replace my normal keyboard with this!". I assure you, this is not the case. The layout is not tailored at all for typing, and it is also missing a few keys (the most glaring of which is the enter key). This isn't really a downside, though, as it is very much marketed towards a gaming environment and can also be used in conjunction with a normal keyboard.<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2008/01/07/wolfking-warrior-review/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>WolfKing Warrior Review</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2008/01/07/wolfking-warrior-review/">WolfKing Warrior Review</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 07 Jan 2008 12:25:00 EST.
