World of Tanks sets new PCCU record, boasts 40 million registered users
OK, let's start with the standard disclaimer. Registered users doesn't mean active users, and in today's free-to-play climate it certainly doesn't mean paying users. That said, 40 million of anything is a fairly staggering amount, and it just so happens that Wargaming.net has 40 million registered users for its World of Tanks title.

The game has also set a new peak concurrent user (PCCU) record thanks to over 500,000 players simultaneously connecting to its Russian shard. World of Tanks recently released its 8.0 patch which brought about a physics and lighting overhaul.
