This week on <a href="http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/708582/New-World-of-Warcraft-Charity-Pet-The-M%20MO-Report.html">The MMO Report</a>, Casey Schreiner starts things off with a bang by highlighting <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/undead-labs/">Undead Labs'</a> zombie MMO-in-the-making and a spectacularly polarizing quote by developer <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11/03/undead-labs-current-mmos-are-barely-even-games/">Richard Foge</a> that first broke right here on Massively.<br />
<br />
Moving right along, Casey takes a look at <a href="http://www.swtor.com"><em>Star Wars: The Old Republic's</em></a> recently announced <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11/05/star-wars-the-old-republic-warzones-and-wizards-rename/">PvP Warzones</a>, scenario-based battles that will see players fighting for control over various objectives. He also spends a segment on the drama surrounding <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/all-points-bulletin"><em>All Points Bulletin</em></a> -- or more accurately -- its <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11/11/gamersfirst-publisher-purchases-apb/">firesale</a>. The new sci-fi MMOFPS <a href="http://genesis.ijji.com/"><em>Genesis A.D</em></a>. also gets a mention, and its shiny trailer grabs the spotlight for a few precious seconds.<br />
<br />
Finally, the episode pays a bit of lip service to <a href="http://www.blizzard.com">Blizzard's</a> charitable endeavors via the <a href="http://cata.wowhead.com/item=68137/moonkin-hatchling">Moonkin hatchling</a> promotion and finishes things off with a death-defying dive into the nether regions of Uncle Casey's mailbag. Check out the full episode after the cut, and if you're looking for past episodes of The MMO Report, head over to <a href="http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/708582/New-World-of-Warcraft-Charity-Pet-The-M%20MO-Report.html">G4TV</a>.<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11/11/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This week on The MMO Report</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11/11/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/">This week on The MMO Report</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Thu, 11 Nov 2010 20:00:00 EST. <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/Casey-Schreiner/">Casey Schreiner</a> is taking a trip away from the states. Well, not really, but this week's edition of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/the-MMO-Report/">the MMO Report</a> is bringing us over to games developed quite a distance away. Specifically, it's looking at <a href="http://www.tera-online.com/"><em>TERA</em></a> and possible subsidization by the Korean government, as well as <a href="http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com"><em>Final Fantasy XIV</em></a>'s ongoing beta. Which is almost as good as a trip, if you're fond of either one of those games.<br />
<br />
If they're not quite your cup of tea, however, you can always enjoy Casey's look at the <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/Blizzard/">Blizzard</a> back-and-forth on the <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/Real-ID/">Real ID</a> fiasco, or the management changes for <a href="http://www.startrekonline.com"><em>Star Trek Online</em></a> and what it might mean for the future of the game. And of course, there's the usual dip inside of the mailbag, for those who just can't get enough of that mailbag action. Take a look past the cut for the video, and stay tuned every week for a new edition of the MMO Report from <a href="http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/706278/The-MMO-Report-Thursday-July-15th.html">G4TV</a> and Massively.<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/07/16/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This week on The MMO Report</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/07/16/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/">This week on The MMO Report</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Fri, 16 Jul 2010 10:30:00 EST. Once again, Thursday has come, with Friday just around the corner. (We'll not discuss the two weeks in April of 1995 where Friday slept in until Sunday morning.) That means it's time for another MMO Report, and, like always, it highlights some of the latest and greatest news in the MMO world. Which, of course, means that this week it has to talk about <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/04/16/the-daily-grind-have-you-ever-had-microtransactioners-remorse/">the sparklepony</a>.<br />
<br />
That's not the only piece of news on the deck this week, of course. There's talk about the inimitable <a href="http://www.worldoftanks.com/"><em>World of Tanks</em></a>, followed shortly thereafter by discussion about <a href="http://www.viethegame.com/main.php"><em>Virtual Island Entertainment</em></a> at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. <a href="http://www.lordofultima.com/en"><em>Lord of Ultima</em></a>'s release on Tuesday and rumors of <em>BioShock</em> being made into an MMO fill out the report. Well, and a dive inside Casey's mailbag, which is everything you've come to expect from it. That may not be a good thing.<br />
<br />
Take a look after the break for the video, and keep your eyes here for another installment of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/the-mmo-report/">the MMO Report</a> every Thursday from <a href="http://g4tv.com/">G4TV</a> and Massively.<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/04/22/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This week on the MMO Report</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/04/22/this-week-on-the-mmo-report/">This week on the MMO Report</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Thu, 22 Apr 2010 20:00:00 EST. Well hello there intrepid Massively readers! This week, instead of my usual selection of complaints crammed into the tight space of a single column, I've decided to do something different. This Monday, I opened up a call for questions on anything MMO related on the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/massively">Massively Facebook fan page</a>, the <a href="http://www.twitter.com/massively">Massively Twitter</a>, and my own <a href="http://www.twitter.com/sera_brennan">personal Twitter</a>. You guys didn't disappoint, and you certainly sent me more than a few intriguing e-mails.<br /><br />So, for the past three days, I've been preparing responses to some of the questions that landed in my inbox. What did intrepid readers ask me to answer? Whose e-mails did I select from the pile of text I received? <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2R3FvS4xr4">What is the airspeed of an African Swallow</a>? These and many other questions (except that swallow one, that one's been done to death, <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=airspeed+of+an+african+swallow">go Google it or something</a>) shall be answered after the break! <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd4aysUovpo">Thundercats, hoooooooooo</a>!<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/10/15/anti-aliased-the-mailbag-edition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Anti-Aliased: The mailbag edition</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/10/15/anti-aliased-the-mailbag-edition/">Anti-Aliased: The mailbag edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Thu, 15 Oct 2009 16:00:00 EST.
