Sure, <em><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/Diablo-III-Reaper-of-Souls/">Diablo III: Reaper of Souls</a></em> has the perfect soundtrack when you're playing <em><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/Diablo-III/">Diablo III</a></em>. But what can you do when you're not playing the game but you're just out reaping souls on your own time? You can't <em>hum</em> the songs; you'll just look like an idiot. Well, don't despair, because <a href="http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/music/diablo3-reaper-of-souls.html">you can now purchase the expansion's soundtrack on iTunes</a> and forever have access to the perfect reaping music in your day-to-day life.<br />
<br />
The full soundtrack can be purchased for $9.99 and contains 22 tracks with a total running time of just over an hour. <a href="http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/music/diablo3-reaper-of-souls.html">Clips are available on the official page</a> in case you just want a couple of tunes and aren't quite sure what they're called; at 22 tracks, though, it's almost more economical to just buy the whole thing.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2014/04/23/diablo-iii-reaper-of-souls-soundtrack-available-on-itunes/">Diablo III: Reaper of Souls soundtrack available on iTunes</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Wed, 23 Apr 2014 19:00:00 EST. <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/wargaming.net/">Wargaming.net</a> is making it easier than ever to stay in touch with your friends and goals in <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/world-of-tanks"><em>World of Tanks</em></a>, as the studio released its first mobile app that's integrated with the online game. Called <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/about-wot/id496540328?mt=8"><em>World of Tanks</em> Assistant</a>, this free app can be found in the iTunes Store, although an Android version is coming soon.<br />
<br />
The <em>World of Tanks</em> Assistant is designed to give players access to in-game information while they're on the go. Players can access their profiles, read up on the latest news, check out combat stats and global ratings, and stay in touch with friends.<br />
<br />
Wargaming.net CEO <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/victor-kislyi/">Victor Kislyi</a> hopes that this will be a useful tool for <em>WoT </em>fans: "What I like about the Assistant most is its convenience. Even if you're away from your computer, there's always an app at hand that will give you everything you need to know at any given time."<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/02/21/world-of-tanks-ios-app-rolls-off-the-factory-line/">World of Tanks iOS app rolls off the factory line</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Tue, 21 Feb 2012 08:30:00 EST. The developers at <a href="http://www.trionworlds.com/en/">Trion Worlds</a> have given the players an active way to close the <a href="http://www.riftgame.com/en/"><em>RIFT</em></a> in security for the iPhone. <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/03/29/rift-bringing-out-a-new-authentication-service-today-but-not-y/">As reported a couple of weeks ago</a>, <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/rift/"><em>RIFT</em></a> is following in <a href="http://worldofwarcraft.coom"><em>World of Warcraft</em></a>'s footsteps with a mobile authenticator. Most of the time, being called a clone of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/world-of-warcraft/"><em>WoW</em></a> is a negative mark on the game, but in this case, it's a matter of personal security.<br />
<br />
<em>RIFT</em> launched its <a href="https://market.android.com/details?id=com.trionworlds.mobile.auth">authenticator on the Android platform</a> first, giving those customers more peace of mind in the wake of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/03/19/player-identifies-huge-security-hole-in-rifts-authentication/">reports of holes in the game's security</a>. Today, Community Manager <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/erick-adams">Erick "Zann" Adams</a> posted that the authenticator is now available for <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rift-mobile-authenticator/id429973392?mt=8&amp;ls=1">the iPhone and other iOS products as well</a>.<br />
<br />
Because of the growing popularity of MMOs and other online games, these extra security measures are more than welcomed by the gaming community. If you are a <em>RIFT</em> player, then you can rush to the <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rift-mobile-authenticator/id429973392?mt=8&amp;ls=1">iTunes store</a> or the <a href="https://market.android.com/details?id=com.trionworlds.mobile.auth">Android market</a> to pick up the authenticator or jump to the <a href="http://www.riftgame.com/en/products/authenticator.php"><em>RIFT</em> game site</a> to find out more information.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/04/11/security-rift-has-closed-for-ios/">Security 'RIFT' has closed for iOS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 11 Apr 2011 16:30:00 EST. Many pilots have spent hours in New Eden, mining, exploring, missioning, ratting, PvPing - and enjoying the soundtrack all the while. For fans of electronica, <em><a href="http://www.eveonline.com">EVE Online</a></em>'s music ranges from calm downtempo to trance-like. At other times, it soars to the fore with a more techno or EBM feel, just in time to get your blood moving. So far as sci-fi MMO soundtracks go, <em><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/EVE-Online/">EVE Online</a></em>'s soundtrack is a favorite of several folks here at Massively - which is saying something when one considers how tedious many MMO soundtracks get after hours of playing!<br /><br />For those of you who, like us, really love the music of EVE Online. CCP has some good news. They have patrnered together with RealX to release the soundtrack for New Eden to the iTunes store so everyone can get their hands on it. Individual tracks are the typical iTunes $ .99 each, with the entire 11-song first edition of the soundtrack for a non-discounted $10.89. Still, it warms our ratting hearts to <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=317993326&amp;s=143441">see this soundtrack out there</a>. We can't wait until the entire soundtrack is available too - maybe at a discount?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/06/15/the-music-of-eve-online-now-available-on-itunes/">The music of EVE Online now available on iTunes</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 15 Jun 2009 20:00:00 EST. Both apps were developed by <a href="http://bamsoft.net/">BAMsoft</a> (which is just one guy, as is often the case with iPhone apps), and one has already been approved by Apple -- <a href="http://bamsoft.net/?page_id=37">LOTROStatus</a> will check the status of the US servers for you, and is available for free right now. If enough Europeans ask to have their servers included, another version of the app might be released especially for them.<br /><br />BAMsoft's other <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/lord-of-the-rings-online/"><em>LotRO</em></a> iPhone App is called <a href="http://bamsoft.net/?page_id=85">LOTROChar</a>. With this program, you'll be able to view your in-game characters on your iPhone, check out lorebook links, and probably annoy co-workers by showing them the sweet loot you found the other night. This one hasn't been approved by Apple just yet, but it's sure to pop up in the iTunes store some time soon. It looks pretty nifty in the <a href="http://bamsoft.net/?page_id=85">preview screenshots</a>; keep up the good work BAMsoft!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/05/15/a-look-at-iphone-apps-making-use-of-lotros-xml-data/">A look at iPhone Apps making use of LotRO's XML data</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Fri, 15 May 2009 20:00:00 EST. Do you ever feel you're paying for more than you're actually using? Beau from the <a href="http://epicdolls.com/beauturkey/">Spouse Aggro podcast</a> points out an interesting parallel between how <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/free-to-play">free-to-play MMOs</a> vs. subscription titles relates to the iTunes Store vs. buying CDs. <br /><br />Even though many people embrace the piecemeal approach to buying music through services like the iTunes Store, there are still plenty of consumers out there who still prefer to buy their music on CDs. After all, that's just how it's been done for years and some people really like to own a CD. They might not listen to every track frequently, but the music's always there for them in case they choose to enjoy it at some point. But how many times have you bought a CD after having heard a certain track you like, only to find out that only a few tracks on that CD are actually good? Maybe your friends like the whole album but for you, there are only a few you'll ever listen to.
