One of the things that EVE Online has managed to do since its early days is inspire an incredibly loyal, devoted fanbase. They travel around the world to attend the Fan Fest in Iceland, they write fiction about the game, and of course - they send in crazy excellent EVE Online One Shots for us to enjoy! Today's great screen comes to us from Hetler R. who opted to add his note in a more poetic form. He writes in:

The grid is clean.
The dust will settle.
To infinity as they might seem,
Echoes in the distance rattle.
Beware of smite;
Beware of terror;
For wrecks in the sundance gleam.
Beware!
Because in space...
No one can hear you scream.

One of the best ways to play EVE Online is in a corp, which we've heard time and time again. Of course, without a group, pictures like this really aren't generally possible. We figure if this many EVE Online players were in one area and not in cooperative corps, someone would have opened fire by now. Today's One Shots comes to us from Hetler R. who writes in: Here is a picture of about 200 hulks ice mining together with other barges, battleships and ... a Titan. Put that into the perspective of someone that is new to EVE, and you get a nice OMG.

For those who have never run with a fleet in EVE Online, there's something to be said for when you drop out of warp with your corp-mates and all arrive ready to rip someone (or something) a new one. It's an exciting moment. Of course, as with all things in EVE Online, sometimes the best plans go wrong. Other times, the weirdest plans work beautifully. Today's excellent One Shots comes to us from Hetler R, who obviously knows this feeling well. He writes in: When hostiles started to poke their heads out and look brave, we assembled forces and went on a rampage. ([This is] only showing 2/3 of the fleet, the rest missed fleet warp.)
