<a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/gamekiss">GameKiss</a> made some waves <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/10/31/ghostx-ultimate-offers-classless-gameplay-with-nanobots/">yesterda</a>y by announcing its new title <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/ghostx-ultimate"><em>GhostX Ultimate</em></a>. What makes it worthy of the "ultimate" moniker, you ask? GameKiss is hoping you'll jump into the game and find out for yourself, and they've sweetened the pot with a gift code.<br />
<br />
The team at GameKiss has given Massively a gift code to pass along to 75 of our readers. The code grants a VIP rookie package containing nanobot starter materials, double XP coupons, and some special equipment at levels 1, 7, and 15. To get a gift code, simply go to Shopping Town in the game, find the Gift Giver, and enter code MMORPG2436.<br />
<br />
The code will work for the first 75 people to apply it, so check out <em>GhostX Ultimate</em> with your new goodies, and have fun!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/11/01/pick-up-a-ghostx-ultimate-gift-pack-from-gamekiss-and-massively/">Pick up a GhostX Ultimate gift pack from GameKiss and Massively</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Tue, 01 Nov 2011 14:00:00 EST. If you've never heard of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/gamekiss">GameKiss</a>, you're not alone. The company hopes to change that, though, and the first step toward raising its profile is a new MMO called <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/ghostx-ultimate"><em>GhostX Ultimate</em></a>. GameKiss says that the title "delivers a stand-out gameplay experience for gamers with an appetite for a completely different kind of adventure," and that it's unique in "a sea of repetitively-themed MMORPG games."<br />
<br />
Bold claims, to be sure, but how exactly does <em>GhostX</em> come by its uniqueness?<br />
<br />
For one thing, there are no classes or jobs. Instead, players develop their own catalogue of nanobot weapons that can instantly change an avatar's combat abilities from melee to short- or long-range styles. GameKiss's latest press release also says that <em>GhostX</em> has a "real storyline," and you can learn more about that, and download the free-to-play title, at the official website.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/10/31/ghostx-ultimate-offers-classless-gameplay-with-nanobots/">GhostX Ultimate offers classless gameplay with nanobots</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 31 Oct 2011 14:30:00 EST. There are quite a few side-scrolling action MMOs out there these days, so when I decided to take on yet another one, I thought that I might regret it. As soon as I downloaded <a href="http://ghostx.gamekiss.com/main.jce"><em>GhostX</em></a> and loaded it up, however, I knew I was in for a different experience than anything found in the other side-scrollers I have played in the past.<br />
<br />
First of all, <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/side-scroller/"><em>GhostX</em></a> is set in some kind of futuristic setting, complete with nanobots and strange mutant creatures. The look of the game is distinctively Anime, but the <em>good</em> kind. When I think Anime, I think incredibly bad creations like <a href="http://naruto.viz.com/">Naruto</a> or <a href="http://www.pokemon.com/us/">Pokemon</a> -- stuff that literally makes me cringe. <em>GhostX</em> is the kind that just looks like a toy, like you could reach through the screen and manipulate the characters and story yourself.<br />

In what must be one of the fastest closures we've heard about, it would appear that <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/GameKiss/">GameKiss</a> has decided to shut down their "action MMO" <a href="http://nidaonline.gamekiss.com"><em>Nida Online</em></a> tomorrow -- just short of <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/09/22/nida-online-wants-you-to-bathe-in-numbers/">8 months after it launched into open beta</a>. While they don't give specifics as to precisely why they've opted to shut down the game, MMOCrunch is <a href="http://www.mmocrunch.com/2010/05/17/nida-online-shutting-down-tomorrow/">citing financial issues</a> as the reason that <a href="http://www.gamekiss.com">GameKiss</a> has decided on this course of action. <br />
<br />
In either case, while it's never good to see any MMO community lose its home, we suspect that <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/nida-online/"><em>Nida Online</em></a> players will likely bounce back. After all, there are a great many other free-to-play games with solid populations to choose from -- and a new one launching (seemingly) every other day. <p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/05/17/nida-online-shutting-down-tomorrow/">NIDA Online shutting down tomorrow</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Mon, 17 May 2010 15:00:00 EST. If you're the type of person who loves watching big numbers tick up on the screen, then boy do we have the game for you. It's called <em><a href="http://nidaonline.gamekiss.com/">NIDA Online</a></em>, and it's for those of us who feel better after seeing gigantic numbers tick up on the screen.<br /><br />We'll be honest. We're not exactly sure what's going on in this game. There's <a href="http://nidaonline.gamekiss.com/guide/storyline.jce?mID=22">mages, summoners, and knights</a>, but then there's also <a href="http://nidaonline.gamekiss.com/download/theme.jce?mID=33">pictures of people</a> in power armor in addition to medieval armor. We're really confused. It's also billing itself as an action MMORPG, which we can only assume means fast paced combat.<br /><br />What we're not confused about, however, is the <a href="http://nidaonline.gamekiss.com/forum/bbs.jce?bbsIdx=27&amp;contentIdx=23052&amp;mID=11">open beta start date</a>. The game is opening their doors tomorrow, so anyone interested can jump into the open beta and give the game a whirl.<br /><br />If you want a better look at what you're getting into, however, we've embedded one of the number spamming videos into this post after the break. The quality isn't very good, but <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwlMHJE82Mk">the numbers Duke, the numbers</a>!<p><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/09/22/nida-online-wants-you-to-bathe-in-numbers/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NIDA Online wants you to bathe in numbers</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com"><img src="http://massively.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Massively" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/2009/09/22/nida-online-wants-you-to-bathe-in-numbers/">NIDA Online wants you to bathe in numbers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com">Massively</a> on Tue, 22 Sep 2009 20:00:00 EST.
