Asda 2 closed beta starts tomorrow

If getting married, fishing, or fighting over mining rights sounds like a pleasant diversion from your typical MMO fare, then you may want to check out Asda 2. The PvP-centric sequel to Asda Story is going into closed beta tomorrow, May 5th, until Monday the 9th.

During this five-day period, testers can experience Asda 2's signature Avatar system to control their characters' look and style. If a friend tags along for the ride, then the game's Soul Mate feature will allow the pair of you to level faster, gain access to new skills, and increase in power when playing together.

GamesCampus' Uyen Ton Nu hopes that Asda fever catches on: "There is already so much anticipation for Asda 2 that we are really looking forward to player feedback as we introduce them to this new title in the Asda franchise."

Marriage is a tricky thing. You have to balance out your goals with those of your potential spouse, make sure you're compatible in dealing with stress and finance and humor, and most of all make sure that your partner will enhance your power as much as possible. At least, that's the case in Asda 2, the upcoming game that's just been announced from GamesCampus. While its predecessor, Asda Story, will remain operational, the new game updates several of the game's features while retaining the flavor.

Yes, one of those features is the Marriage System, making two characters significantly more powerful when together. But that's hardly all the game brings to the table; it also has stylized and clean graphics backed up by a war between Light and Dark. The war is set to change dynamically with the in-game clock, thus forcing players to think tactically. Asda Story on its way to the US

Asda Story, a popular anime-style 3D MMORPG with a large following in Korea and Japan, is coming to the US following a deal struck between MaxOn Soft Corporation and Gamescampus.com.

Asda Story is especially popular with female gamers, who make up more than 20% of the population. This success has been credited to two unique game systems, one of which allows two players to become 'soul mates' and unlocks associated costumes and skills, and the other being a highly customizable costume and appearance system.

Another in the ever-expanding range of free-to-play MMORPGs with a bright and colorful theme, Asda Story is set to launch later this fall. European gamers should note: there is no connection between Asda Story and the chain of Asda supermarkets familiar to British readers.
