When it comes to MMOs, poetry may not immediately jump to mind -- unless, of course, you either really like poetry or are taking a poetry class. While we've gotten short stories to go with screenshots, this may well mark the first time we've gotten a poem to go along with one. That said, this particular poem isn't an original, but today's One Shots contributor, Matthew, obviously felt that it fit his mood and the mood of the Star Trek Online image that he sent in.

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,

While not every achievement is marked with a flashy badge or a listing on a leaderboard, there are still tons of them to be enjoyed out in the MMOGsphere. Today, we have a personal happy moment that Matthew (also known as Charles@Tiberius1986) achieved -- and decided to share with us from Star Trek Online. He writes in to explain it to those of us who aren't zipping around in this particular corner of MMO space:

"Today marked the day I had finally saved up enough to purchase the Dreadnought starship in Star Trek Online. I play the game every day, and [this ship is] a wonderful reward for endgame players who love the game. I took this beautiful image while resource gathering in a star system. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do."
