Although a lot of what they talked about was, perhaps inevitably, <a href="http://massively.joystiq.com/category/second-life/"><em>Second Life</em></a> they also had discussions about coming trends, events, and worlds.<br /><br />I'm not sure I want to imagine the forum, but one person's top 20 things for 2008, can be found <a href="http://techdigest.tv/2007/10/20_trends_defin.html">in Tech Digest</a>. For those of you who don't like reading about <em>Second Life</em> - the good news is that <em>Second Life</em> won't be the only virtual world we're talking about - the bad news is that there will more for us to talk about in a range of worlds!<br /><br />The top three predictions, in case you don't want to see the whole list are:<br />
<ol>
    <li>There will be loads of new worlds launched next year;</li>
    <li>Teen worlds are huge and will continue to be so;</li>
    <li>Big brand names still need to learn how to handle virtual worlds.</li>
</ol>
