Scattered Shots: Cataclysm hunter video roundup

Aug 8th 2010 12:12PM (WoW)
I just love BRK! His hunter excitement makes me excited. My hunter has been sitting in the dark on another server while I level a druid...I think I am going to go fire her up today!

The OverAchiever: Pure win

Jul 24th 2010 1:34AM (WoW)
Thanks to Allison and everyone that posted here...you reminded me why I came back to WoW after a year and a half away. I am having so much more fun this time around, not in a rush to 80, just to see and do all the things I've missed. My big ole druid has a lot ahead of her. And it's never been a question that, if there is one achievement I will certainly get, it's the Lil' Game Hunter - I'm slightly obsessed with pets (I may have a spreadsheet with all the quests/drops etc on my desktop) :)

Joyswag: ModNation Racers (and a PSP!)

A track that showcases the bazillion custom racers I will end up creating thanks to my obsession with Dunnys and designer vinyl :)

I've been wanting to check out Shadow Complex and Splosion Man...but I would definitely get Marvel vs Capcom 2...you have no idea what I went through to get a copy of that game back in the day!

The Gaming Iconoclast: Jumping Ship

This is a strangely common thread among mmo players I know lately. Several of us have jumped ship from the 800 pound gorilla and, while some have returned briefly, we found that we are all longing for something new.

Personally, I've grown tired of the traditional fantasy mmo and am keenly interested in the new crop of sci-fi and superhero mmos on the horizon.

I wonder if this one will cheat as badly as the original?!

Atlus announces Persona 3 FES for the US on April 22

Feb 25th 2008 2:19PM (Joystiq)
Got this email this morning and squeeked with glee. And to think I came THIS close to paying $70 for P3 on Ebay a couple of weeks ago! Thank you Atlus, I heart you today.

The Digital Continuum: Superhero standoff

CoX was my first mmo, and oh how I loved it. Until, as Brigand said, they couldn't provide anything more than "grind mobs on one of seven or eight endlessly repeating map tilesets". I hated to leave the game but the lack of variety quickly quelled my fun. My hope is that Champions Online will provide those things that CoX was lacking so I can get back to some super-hero badassery.
