Yeah, yeah--I'll give you all of that, but it doesn't mean that the Pandas aren't weak tea. And you know something else? Pandas are pretty damn dumb, both as a game concept and in our really real world. Whenever I see someone (not necessarily you) mention that the pandas were added because of player demand and that it is a vocal or juvenile minority who keep bashing them as silly, I can't help thinking that the opposite is equally likely to be true. There are a great many loyal fans and players of WoW who have always thought that the pandaren are slightly ridiculous, but have never bothered to comment in any way because Blizzard has always made it very clear that they would never be playable in the game. I mean, why argue a point if there is no substance to it, so we non-panda fans just went merrily about playing the game for years-completely unconcerned about the panda fans because there was no chance of the dumb creatures showing up in the game. But now... So, now we have been voicing our opinion--too late, I grant you, but I do believe that the panda lovers still have a very good chance of being the vocal minority and that Blizzard may be guilty of having listened to the wrong group all along.
Chivvy-I have to admit that I was misty eyed over the Omusa part of the quest as well. I've always loved the Barrens, Tauren, and Camp Taurajo and have spent many long evenings protecting it from Alliance players. No longer will I enjoy standing guard in the warm Barrens sun that always felt like a summer evening, chatting a lot and fighting on occasion. With the destruction of Camp T, a little spark of something that felt like home to me died as well. Light the pyre:
