I would suggest devoting your time to arenas. I'm not sure why you had issues getting to level 80 - leveling is really easy. With RAF, you can easily get 1-80 in a month only playing ~1.5 hours per day.

Anyway, I used to be a hardcore raider. But I really started to hate the rat race. It all felt like one giant epeen competition. I spent so much time grinding, and the raids were just more of the same every night.

So i decided to become a pvper. Now I get the thrill of competition, the social interaction and camaraderie of a pvp guild (in my experience, pvpers are far nicer and more socially adept then raid nerds) without the endless hours of grinding and raiding.

I play usually less than an hour, and never more than 2 hours, a day - and I'm having so much more fun. PvP is the way to go. It's much more interesting to fight other intelligent players instead of pre-coded computer monsters anyway.

I hope they allow same-faction race changes. I would kill to change my troll to an UD mage, will of the forsaken is just too good to pass up.

sorry buddy but he's right. Any comp with a BM hunter I'm going to call downright faceroll.

The DK and the Hunter can both go completely un-CCable (icebound fortitude, beast within, anti magic shell, and lichborne) and then just laugh as they kill your healer and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

At least RMP requires COORDINATION and timing. Faceroll comps like that are "lets just sit on that guy and do so much ridiculous pressure that he'll probably die. Oh look, he did."

Sorry to break it to you bob, but some of us actually enjoy some competition in our games. You know, something a little more interesting than look up X strat online and dont stand in the fire and then boss dies.

But you have fun beating those loot pinatas.

Lol I'm sorry lemons, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Retadins and cleave comps in general are ridiculously easy to play. Push three buttons and the guy in front of you dies. And there is nothing he can do to stop your damage, because you have a fourth button that makes you un CCable.

1: good interview. I like the actual specific questions and interesting comp.
2: this guy said pretty much everything I have been thinking about arena since wrath, and just about what every serious arena player has also been thinking. Melee damage is out of control, DKs have too much utility to do the ridiculous burst that they do.

He definitely came across as bitter, but everything he said was 100% true.

also: suggestion. if you hate tauren cat form as much as I do, get a model changer. there's some player-made models out there that actually look decent. It's not -technically- in line with the ToS but I've never heard of anyone actually getting banned for it. I won't provide any links but google is your friend :P

I still remember leveling balance in vanilla. I was so excited to finally get hurricane and go try it out in an instance... then the tank died and everyone asked why I wasn't healing.

true. I usually get pissed at michael gray for posting fotm after fotm, but these guys are actually legit. Despite it's high representation, priest/rogue is pretty even with other teams.
