Most polls don't take a gigantic sample they break it down my demographics and for a survey like this where it boils down to "do you " or "don't you" you can still get a respectable sample with that low of a number.

Apr 3rd 2012 9:05PM (Massively)Sample size of 500 is plenty large enough if the demographics are chosen properly. If you just pick 500 people at random walking down the street, the results are usually off but if you choose 500 people broken down by age, sex, income level, whatever you can get a pretty decent sampling reflective of the general gaming population for a particular game.

Wow killed the group quests when leveling a while ago, most of other mmos killed group content and restricted it to the group instances. At least in TOR you had more group content when leveling with heroics but people tend to either skip them or its hard to form a group.
