Blizzard, NCsoft talent form developer En Masse Entertainment

Apr 13th 2010 2:16PM (Massively)
Mechanically Tera is pretty soundly different from the current crop of MMO's. Having played around on it for a while at GDC I am really looking forward to seeing what it's going to be like when flushed out and group/raid dynamics are sorted out.

This looks so much more comfortable than the n52 and if it weren't $80 I would find it a lot easier to be excited about.

Engadget's Holiday Gift Guide: for daughter

Dec 4th 2008 4:27AM (Engadget)
@God - It's an Engadget holiday gift guide, it would make sense to presume that if you're shopping for your daughter on a tech blog you'd be shopping for tech things for her because your theoretical daughter is an actual human being and not a result of stereotypes and is perfectly able to have any interests she so chooses including whatever random gadgetry, i7 processors, or apparently weird robot dinosaurs. Gender roles are so over rated, focus on what choices an individual of either gender makes for themselves and respect those choices instead of trying to force your opinion of you what you think they should be on them and watch as they actually develop into the unique and interesting person they want to be.

@Jeremy. K - the Ali & AJ heart logo, while vaguely similar to the Roxy logo in the sense of some general proportion and very very tangentially styling issues on the exterior heart silhouette is pretty clearly based on a typographic AA design playing on their initials. You could probably even make an argument for it being AL and AJ with the orientation of the tail portions of the hearts.

@f3rg Wow, way to just be pointlessly sexist and offensive, that was totally what this guide needed lots more of.

OHNOS! An item on the list that isn't inherently gendered =O

as a male illustrator it was very nice to see that as a recommendation it's solid product that is actually well worth the money, though budget tablet pc's are in similar price ranges too.

Also, is a digital photo frame ever a valid gift for anyone?

Ask Engadget: What's the most reliable wireless router?

Oct 24th 2008 2:25AM (Engadget)
Having used a variety of linksys, netgear, and now airport gear, I'd say I liked the linksys the best. The netgear G router (forget the exact name on it) had overheating issues and liked to just drop connectivity a lot of connections (ie: BT) pummpled the tables.

Current residence is rocking an airport and a couple extensions for me and 6 roommates and it seems to drop us all at least 2-3 times a day.
