Take over the streets of San Paro in APB with a key from Massively!

Godspeed, folks.

I uninstalled the beta this morning. No regrets.

The Daily Grind: Who's your MMO mistress?

Echo Bazaar (http://echobazaar.failbettergames.com/). Browser-based, Twitter-connected, vaguely steampunk-y grind game set in Fallen London -- a London stolen from the surface by bats, now run by a collective of mysterious merchants.

GoG in the Machine: More Oddworld, Patrician 3

Dec 23rd 2008 9:21AM (Joystiq)
In a previous life, I was asked to do a game review of Patrician III. After about an hour or so, I decided that a game needs to be somewhat fun to qualify as a game, and as such, I could not review Patrician III at all.

Thief: The Dark Project.

(Technically, I suppose this is a Looking Glass game, published by Eidos ...)

A nostalgic look back on the Star Wars Galaxies beta

Jun 27th 2008 4:07PM (Massively)
Honestly, I've never had a better beta experience than Star Wars Galaxies. City Of Heroes runs a very close second.

Most of my beta screenshots are on Flickr, particularly those from the very last night of testing.

The Daily Grind: Going back to EverCrack?

Twelve hours later ... still patching.

With six hours to go, according to the Launcher.

Not a good look, SOE.

The Daily Grind: Going back to EverCrack?

Jun 3rd 2008 10:24AM (Massively)
I've not played Everquest (Original Recipe) in over four years and I feel no need to go back now.

And twice have I played EQII on a trial basis, but neither the limited Trial of the Isle (What do you mean I can't go to Qeynos?) or Play The Fae (A fairy's life for me? No.) impressed me.

But I saw yesterday that Sony has not only reactivated my EQ account, but those EQII trials were enough to qualify. So I downloaded the Launcher last night, started patching around 6pm and ...

It was still patching this morning as I left for work.

The Daily Grind: Dear Santa, I've been very good this year...

I remember that magazine cover. I was eleven and wanted just about everything in the photo, the robot in particular.
