As far as the video, I thought it was neat. But, I wish they would have added the Stalkers or some other earth related objects other than buildings, like and aircraft carrier.

Andrew, your other response is much better and something I can really agree on.

I have been waiting for a big writeup from Shawn regarding Fallen Earth and I haven't seen it.

He spoke about it at length on the Massively podcast, but not everyone listens to that. By the way, I highly recommend everyone do listen to it if they can.

Sometimes, it is much better to see things written out.

If you want articles for other games, perhaps you should have applied to be a blogger.

Also, Eve is different since most of the news and content are player driven. Players can create more events and drama faster than a development team.

Also, CCP engages heavily with their players. Unlike other Companis, who have Community Managers that simply monitor forums.

Fallen Earth moves into open beta on August 17th

Maybe one of my favorite podcasters can finally talk about it. I don't want to give out his name because of an NDA. But it rhymes with Fawn-Newster.

I hope he talks about it. I'm not signing up for a FilePlanet subscription to get into the Open beta. And the Open Beta is happening at the same time as Champions Online. And next week will be BlizzCon. So let's see if either Fallen Earth or ChampionsOnline can get any news out.

I'm guessing CO is using Open Beta Stress Testing. CO is probably going to use the next few weeks to fine tune their networking code and account signup capacity. Unless something is horribly broken, any new bugs will be checked against whatever internal list they have first.
