You think 38 Studios is overhyped because they haven't started releasing screenshots of the game in its early development stages? O_o Let me guess, you are a graphics-whore that was obsessed with AoC before it came out...Look how that turned out.

Curt has already stated that they won't be releasing a single screenshot until they are good and ready.

The company was founded -- FOUNDED in 2006. It doesn't mean they had their game engine up and running and had character models done and all that. Founded simply means the company was made, registered. Hell they are still hiring people, meaning they aren't in full swing. Games take years to make, especially MMOs and especially by small start-up companies!

Curt and Vin's star status doesn't really make me more interested, but Curt's ability to get people like Todd McFarlane definitely got my attention.

I am a HUGE fan of Todd McFarlane's Spawn the animated series (HBO series), he does amazing work with the McFarlane toys and is really just a creative genius. So I have basically fallen in love with 38 Studios.

I've read every interview related to Curt and 38 Studios and I can tell this guy knows the business better than most that are already in it. Keep an eye out... Copernicus has the talent behind it to make it a real winner!



Oh and I am happy Vin is supporting gaming, but good lord I can't stand him in movies hehe.

Hahaha that is too funny. I will assume you are a very low level Zealot then - and although you chose a class that has the lowest DPS in the game, is meant to group and mainly only heal, it is still possible to kill a boar in under a minute.

If you wanted to be a damage dealing healer, you should have tried playing a Shaman, DoK, an Archmage, or a Warrior Priest.

Most likely you choose a Zealot because "they look cool!" (and they do!). I would just recommend people read up on classes before choosing one.

WAR is not like that one game... you know, the one where almost every class can be the best of whatever they want (dps/heal/tank/blah blah). In WAR there are different paths you can take, but for the most part, each class has its vital roles. Some of those lines are blurred, but there is a "best" healer class for group heals and there is a "best" healer class for single target heals for example. It all depends on what you want to do.

Some of you are so impatient to learn anything new, you don't give anything a fighting chance.

WAR is for those that like PvPing. If killing boars all day is your thing, go play something else - you will seriously have more fun. If you like PvP, you need to get to Tier 3 to even judge the game, and even then, it's just a taste for Tier 4 where you will have much more fun!

hehe, had the game since October 1st and have enjoyed it ever since. I play with a RL friend who enjoys the PvP as well, so it helps having an instant duo/group always.

Admit it, you are jealous of WAR. Just try it for more than a week before you bash it ;)

Yeah, but I am insanely good at it, so maybe thats why I enjoy it. I've had 4 SCs where I got over 30 kills and the next highest was 10. ;)

Considering this is one of the best MMOs out there right now, I'd say it's definitely worth 15$ a month.

1.2 is going to have huge changes... not sure if I like them all, but definitely a decent amount of them will be nice.

It's been ages since I have had this fun in an MMO and I've basically played them all. Viva la WAR! I have to say, I enjoy the player-base much more than other MMOs recently as well.

Oh and the PvP ROCKS! :)
