I stuck with WAR right up until I bought the upgrade package that allowed you to level Renown to RR100. I took a break shortly after that, and returned to find that scenarios were completely dominated by RR80+ premades that consistently crushed my RR55 main. Since I'd long exhausted all PvE content and knew that no more was forthcoming, I decided that the mind-numbing grind necessary to become competitive in PvP wasn't worth it and unsubbed.

I invested a lot of time in WAR, and to this day I still miss it. I had some of the best times I've had in gaming in its PvP lakes. Unfortunately, its imbalance, lack of new content, and "make-it-up-as-we-go-along" design made it no longer worth the $15/month I was paying.

If it went free to play I'd definitely play again.

The word "bad" should probably be in quotes in this case, as it's really the perception of a game as "bad" that we're talking about here. Anyhoo...

I stuck with WAR long after I should have bounced because I was in a great guild, and when the game was good, it was REALLY good. Unfortunately, as time went on those really good times became less and less frequent, and eventually disappeared entirely. That's when my $15/month fee was no longer worth it. I also loved the Warhammer world, and WAR was my first real exposure to it, so there was definitely a novelty factor there.

Old Ironjaw. I stopped counting after probably about 2500 casts. Meanwhile, I got Old Crafty by accident, doing dailies while leveling up fishing in Orgrimmar. I never want to see Ironforge again after getting that fish.

Also Rivendare's mount. Like others have said, Stratholme is dead to me after I get that thing.

I want this so bad I can BEARLY stand it. Mwahahahaha.
