This is why the SSH installer should automatically randomise the password and present it to the user after installation. Yes we all know users should change the password but they don't. Generating a random one would stop issues like this and if someone is stupid enough not to write their randomly generate password down all they would need to do is reinstall the package which is a much better alternative to having your phone messed with.
I enjoy reading about EVE more than I do playing EVE. The game sounds great and the stories within the player run universe is are great but the game itself to play isn't that great.
I'd personally like Massively to some war stories about EVE. Tell us about some of the large alliances and their large fights for territory and superiority. I'd enjoy reading that as I have enjoyed reading most EVE posts related to what is actually going on inside the game with players such as the CEO of an EVE Bank leaving with a ton of cash.
I play Horde and I transferred 2 Characters from Haomarush earlier in the year to Stormscale via Paid Transfer.
My main reasons for doing so was the Low Population on Haomarush (Stormscale being an almost Full realm). It was like playing a Single Player game in most zones and groups were .... difficult to come by.
I buy Apple products because they are good, when a product isn't good I buy an alternative. Case in Point Cinema Displays (Overpriced with lower specs then the competition) and the Mac Mini which is almost an entirely pointless computer.
The MacBook Pros, Mac Pros, iPods and the iPhone on the other hand are very good products and lets not forget OS X which is just the best consumer OS available.
I don't know anyone personally who buys Apple products for the 'Hype' they keep buying them because they are satisfied with what they pay for simple as that.
I never thought I'd see comments like these from a TUAW blogger. This blog has lost a lot of respect from me because of Steves comments alone.
I don't know who you are, I don't recognise your name or anything like that so let me give you some advice, When your wrong, admit it and move on. Don't justify your knowingly incorrect statements.
And I also just want to say that you were wrong for saying the software bricked this device. Every tech-savy person online knows that when something is 'Bricked' it is damaged beyond consumer repair. And also don't lie and say you cant change a title after it has been posted.
1. In 2008, it is technically impossible for someone to run a site of this magnitude and not include a way to edit Titles (Infact I've even seen titles edited to include words like "Update: [Turns out, not true]" in blogs such as Engadget powered by the same CMS software.
2. The only feasible way that the editing of post titles would not be allowed is for some blogger-security thing so a blogger on the payroll cant go AWOL and then edit a post to remove something they said, in which case you shouldn't make the issue sound like a technical issue beyond fixing.
That is all I have to say on the matter. Also anyone know of a better Apple blog I'd like to take my Dollar providing Ad viewing eyes elsewhere.
Hahaha - If I had to guess I would say one of there plans is some kind of 'WoWInsider News' addon for WoW so you can read articles inside the game or something like that.
Anyway I think they can do well with whatever it is so vlad gtfo ;)
