I'm sorry, but this statement is false and reveals a naive ignorance. The infrastructure is there. There is no "bandwidth shortage" and for all intents and purposes it is "growing on trees." But these companies are not looking to satisfy their customers, they are looking to satisfy their shareholders. And so ISPs in North America continue to maximize their profit by implementing bandwidth caps and throttling policies. Meanwhile, customers in Europe and Asia have 50Mbps for the equivalent of $20USD/month.

We're being sold down the river and defending these corporations is not helping our situation.

I love the art and character design, it's heads and shoulders above any other MMO.

The ignorance is astounding in this post. TR didn't "pay his space costs", he financed most of that with his own money that's he's earned over the years and years of making amazing video games. And he had to work his ass off in order to get into space, it wasn't just a matter of paying a plane ticket. Educate yourself before you spout off:

This "contest" is little more than a thinly veiled paid front page advertisement. Gamecoins.com seems to be little more than a gold-selling company masquerading as a....jeeze, I don't even know what the hell they are. Instead of paying cash for gold, you pay by "writing articles" or spamming links for them. WTF?

Easy: Aion. If you ever played with the character generator in that game, you can make some truly hideous looking women. The "best of the worst" was almost always created by the Something Awful legion, Topgoon.

Now they just need to fix those animations and texture glitches. Hiring an artist who can make attractive (and distinctive) item/ability icons would also be cool.
