Jan 10th 2012 10:20AM (Massively)Lock and (re)load: BioWare preps us for The Old Republic's launch
Dec 5th 2011 5:59PM (Massively)The entire point of the post that this article is referring to is to clarify the client install situation.

Lock and (re)load: BioWare preps us for The Old Republic's launch
Dec 5th 2011 5:54PM (Massively)No, the login server is offline.
All it means is if you installed the testing client any time after Nov 25th you should be fine to just patch your install for launch.
This is in response to the email many people got telling them to uninstall prior to launch.
If you already uninstalled the game you're out of luck until headstart/launch day gets here.

SWTOR impressions from Eurogamer Expo 2011, part 2
Oct 1st 2011 1:34PM (Massively)What you're really criticizing in much of the piece is the failure of the game to live up to your preconceptions and gameplay preferences.
It's fine if you don't like the game, but to use the gap between where the game is now in beta and what your expectations were for it going into the demo as grounds for concern regarding the launch is pretty foolish.
SWTOR launch day questions answered
Sep 24th 2011 11:45AM (Massively)So far everything Bioware has done shows they've learned a lot from Blizzard. The game has been in closed beta for several months at least and this date gives them nearly 3 mos. more.
I'll be really surprised if the date slips.
