@Foggen i'd imagine they'll make further progress on the character, or that they realized the original character detail was not feasible on consoles. maybe they decided to go from 60% char 40% environment processing power setup, to the inverse. many reasons, really.

but in defense of the design itself, i think it works much better as a overlord father type. the original one just looks like a sidekick, and doesn't look necessarily menacing. the new one pretty much screams that emotion

holy cow i thought i was looking at a nintendo product for a good 5 seconds while my brain tried to comprehend what it was looking at. the matte white, and even the colors on the boxarts of those games

@ExigentContact speaking of lol, i guess you've never heard of a publisher. they're the ones who pay to have the game made. nail'd was published by deep silver, mad riders is being published by ubisoft. it would be lawsuit-worthy if it could be proven that techland re-used assets between franchises. it's not unheard of.
