That's disappointing. EB Games are selling it in Australia which means they're also selling it in New Zealand. They overcharge game by like 20-30 dollar usually.

@(Unverified) If you pre purchase it, not matter what edition, you get access to all 3 bonus features. All beta access, 3 day headstart, and Hero's Band.
@DarkWalker I personally don't fine the DDE worth it. To answer your questions:
1) The Hero's Band is likely a accessory which will last you for about 20-30 levels before being replaced, kind of like the bonus items from GW1. If what I read is correct, it's bound to your account, just like GW1, therefore making new toons will instantly obtain you this item. 2) From what I read on Reddit, this Elite Skill 'may' be a cosmetic variation of another Elite Skill which does the same thing, MistFire Wolf will likely look more awesome. 3) The Chalice, Tome, and Golem Banker are one time use, except the Bank which last for 5 days. 4) The mini pet will likely bound to your account, kind of like what WoW does with their CE pets.
The advantage is permanent, but from what I read is very insignificant. Chalice of Glory seems to be a temporary buff which increase the amount of Glory you obtain, bet you can be bought from cash shop. Tome of Influence is also a one time use(benefits the guild) which can likely be bought through cash shop. Golem Banker only last 5 days, I don't see it being any advantage whatsoever. The only unconfirmed thing is the Elite Skill, but Reddit are claiming it's a cosmetic variation of a existing Elite Skill.
So personally I don't find the DDE to give you any major advantage, they may be permanent, but all about one time use which can likely be bought through cash shop.
@(Unverified) You should really Youtube beta gameplay of the game before you make any decisions. GW2 is very different to GW1 gameplay wise, they have same lore, that's it.
