Actually it's 50 million for an alliance and 20 million for a corp with the 500000 for each player. This would make the cost of wardeccing an organization like goonswarm more than a billion and a half isk just to start a war. if you are a 2 man corp look out..

I don't expect it will be... but it would be great if non role play general chat was immediately snuffed.

it's way too early for me to be excited by this.. so far it's hype to me it's hype and may actually mean nothing. yes destroyers needed some attention .. but is anyone every really in a destroyer long enough to matter?

There are other ship things I think are more important and easier to fix... the primary one being insurance...

@Omali lol, I wouldn't call it awe as much as exasperation and fatigue.

players already get two votes.. one by playing the game you rare voting for it's success. And by doing some content more than other content you vote for content. As far as boting to change a game.. I don;t think that should be standard.

For the more part I'm not a fan. though I'm less bothered by heirloom items in wow than I am of rewards that take a great deal of effort to earn along with a title. I believe the fewer characters have a rewarded item the more valuable that item is to the general player base and to the individual who earns it. It makes me angry to see a level one with a title and reward I'm still struggling to earn after years of effort.

I took a day off for lich king to get a three day weekend when it was released.. but I probably will never do this again.

I hate to say it but from my experiance with it, I sincerely hope this is not the case. The main trouble is there is not really a good incentive for gaming concerns to spend a lot of dev time on things that don't pay.. as a result the games suffered flat earth syndrome. NP-Characters are cardboard and unsympathetic.. quests are hollow or do not develop a good story line. Much of the leveling tasks are grinding, repetitous, or unrewarding. Background is not developed in game for the players to experiance, instead they must read voluminous "history of the world" essays to get caught up. (note even blizzard, as they have released more items for sale, have let this slip - cinematics are not nearly as well done or as plentiful - and questing seems rushed - like the story is not important)

What you do see in F2P games is the items store... item stores are fantasticly well done when few glitches, they work like a charm and a full of all kinds of tempting items.. if only the rest of each game was as nicely and well thought out.

I'd argue that most F2P games are guilty of this. I cannot really dredge up a good example of one that has not fallen prey to the temptation.
