Super excited about AO graphic re-do. Normally graphics wont turn me away from a game, and when it came out it was considerably high end in the graphic department, im glad they are keeping the old by giving it some new stuff.

Looks like ill be giving Vanguard a try aswell. Anyone play it?

@warpax As i have not read them, i will say if thats true i will retract 100% of what i said. Ok, not 100%. I will modify and say the experience I HAD back then was different from what people are saying.

While EVE is not my cup of tea, i do not like seeing all of these bashing comments about its community at large. In the month and a half I tried it, i foundthe vast majority of players to be helpful to this newb, as well as mature (ok well sometimes, its a game what do you want..). This incident appears isolated, and the man and company are taking actions. I think it was tragic that what happened did happen, but think some are carrying this rather far.

Been waiting some time for this, as i know a many gamers have as well. I really enjoy AO, and i think a revamp (hopefully soon) would do it a great service.

I agree, i think most are making this about WoW. While its a big portion, its not the only, and i just think they got way ahead of them selves.

GW2 alone? No. Dont take that as me saying GW2 wont hold up, that would be stupid considering how many alone in such a short have signed up for beta.

However with the massive spread of other mmo's, both lauch of new and older moving f2p, people are seeing that WoW is just another fish in a growing ocean. On the side of that, Blizzard keeps pushing back one of its biggest and most loved franchise; Diablo (3). On top of that they have asked people to lower expectations, they say because they cant please everyone, but no gaming company who wants to sell will ask that.

Ill will say that no one game is or was a wow killer, it was many coming out, and the fact that WoW really isnt introducing much new, just polishing old. It caught up to them and we are going to see its decline sharply, soon.

First thing first, I understand the goal here is to make money, but this takes it to a whole new level. With how easy it is in STO to get lock boxes (i have 20 in my bank), vs it cost 1 dollar per key, are you kidding? Im sorry but making it only available to either grind terrible amounds of dilithium to get enough c store points for 1 key, (about 20,000, correct me if wrong), or you pay 1 dollar each time you get one? Im a subscriber, why am i paying for content GIVEN in the game?
