The thing is, only around half of the 1 million will even bother with the beta. Of that half again will stay on the beta longer then a few hours at most. They can expect only 1-3 hundred thousand testing the game at most, and only a few of them will be on at a time.
The change most likely hasn't been implemented yet. It would look exactly like it does now until they update the zone, and they won't do that until the Scenario comes out.
It could be that they won't change Theramore at all, but it will be like Wyrmrest Temple, we know it as destroyed, but if we go back it looks fine.
From what I have seen achievements -should- come in with MoP, meaning achievement mounts will go across all characters. Mounts themselves most likely won't come with MoP but in 5.1 or later.
