Only games with bad talent choices should allow re-specs, for free. In the case of WoW, Blizzard was never happy with their talent tree and continue to create a situation where bad choices can be made.
Looking at the MoP (5.0) talent tree, the choices only encourages re-specs rather than having players play a certain spec.
Most of the talent choices can easily be managed by simply putting them into the same cool down so that only one of those skills can be used at a time. But instead, they put it in a talent tree where I would have to re-spec every time I want to use one skill over the other.
In case of SWTOR, the spec choices are well thought of. As for the specialization, if you don't like the one you picked, you can simply re-roll the toon since it's only level 10. No need for re-specs.
With an economy where people are cutting cable-tv for internet stream, cell phone monthly contract to a pre-paid, and MMO sub to a F2P...I don't look at the MMO genre to see what can kill WoW, rather, I look at economic situation and see what people can afford. With all the cut backs and belt-tightening and no sign of good economy in sight, WoW sub numbers will continue to decline regardless of what new MMO comes out.
The BioWare style cinematics gets old fast, unless it's about "partner bondingship".
I agree that SWTOR cinematic cut scenes are better, it's BioWare after all, but GW2 compliments its present situation where dialogues needs to be brief...it gives a good sense of urgency, which I believe is the purpose.
One thing I notice that bothers me in GW2 cinematic is the over-shifting-of-facial-expression. Human eyebrows dont change that often unless you are sending out signals. Hopefully this is just in the demo and not in game.
I vote GW2 since I'm not logged in to watch a movie, I'm logged in to play a game and I like more playing time than watching time.
As a parent, I learned to be patient since I often tell our kids to slow down that they are growing too fast. With that, I appreciate the virtue of patience...until the game makes me feel like a kid again...HURRY IT UP, AND RELEASE IT!!!

Leaderboard: Champions Online's Defender vs. City of Heroes' Statesman
Nov 7th 2011 1:32PM (Massively)IMHO, Defender will lose multiple encounters with Statesman to gather combat data before he can develop a suit that can defeat Statesman.
In short, Defender wins because he can adapt, while Statesman is what you see is what you get.
