I´m like a MMO-addict. I leave em, but I keep coming back for more later on. Done this with several MMOs like EVE, EQ2, Mortal Online, Ryzom, POTBS, Vanguard etc...
@Ryukan It wasn´t full loot if you knew how to insure your most valuable items. So it wasn´t as "bad" as you might think. I actually thought they had a very smart system when it came to insuring items in your pack, and that made the PVP life much easier.
@(Unverified) MHS had over 50 peeps working with them, and higher costs for sure then SV that only have around 10 peeps working for them. And trust me. ER had like 20-30 peeps playing at most at the end. Was pretty sad to see. I hoped it would make it to F2P so more could see where they took the game after the horrible release. I had alot of fun with the game towards the end.
I plyed and liked the game even though it had alot of bugs etc that annoyed me. It was still fresh in some areas, and it did get better. But it could never undo the damage it got from it´s to early release. And it was a release they had to do since they were out of money. Sad to see indie companies that tries to do something new with this dumb down genre that MMOs have become these days, and they get punished for being poor. I hope someone takes it over so it gets a new chance in the F2P mode that I think would suite it well.
@BubleFett They are only using Mastheads engine for the Fallout MMO. Nothing else. Ofc they will work closely together though since masthead knows their own engine. It´s been a bumpy ride with the engine for ER. But it could e good. And ER is definetly work a look now. The latest patch was the best yet, but there still are some annoying aspects with some skills etc. I know vet players has grown tired and some are taking a brake. But new players won´t be as tired as they are and could have a good chance to catch up. But as it is now, there only is one guild active, and that is New Dawn. I would recomend anyone to start something of their own. Cause as it is now New Dawn runs around and jerk themselves of and think they are the shit. Well that they are. the only shit playing the game... Yeah, I´m one of them that are on a brake as well...
