The beta communities tend to be filled with excitable retard trolls, so I've never entertained the thought of RP. I will start to put together looks and story ideas though, sure.

Wow this brings back memories. Before I had a computer that could run EQ I played this. I remember it having things like a working politics system, gods/religions that had player held masses, wouldnt mind seeing some of those ideas in modern games.

Everyone I know in Aus who would buy the game already has and is either playing it or moved on.

Still, here's hoping there's at least one RP server for us so I can move to a local server.

Genuine query: In what way is Trion's 'ability to think about MMOs differently' reflected in the game?
When I played the trial I found it fairly derivative. No more or less than the next MMO but nothing that really set it apart either.

@J45neoboy Yep I agree. Warhammer in particular. While I do see the similarities, you do have options in where to get experience. Unless you're a quest completionist I suppose. At the moment I can level on Voss or return to Hoth now that a few levels have passed and do the bonus questline. That's without breaking things up with a flashpoint, or heroic missions etc.

Depends largely on the game, CO I made an alt almost every session, DCUO I stuck with one toon. It usually occurs once I get a whiff of burnout on my main or if I come up with a cool concept for the most part though.
