Go to jita for the first time – read everything in local and CAREFULLY check...its a scam of any sort? – Block the characted doing it.
Next time you come to Jita,you will have only 3 peoples doing scams there – block them.
Week after,Jita is crystal clear.
Its my Jita routine – check the scams,block the user.
They are not switching the chars as much

Rule #2 is – if you simply want to buy something and you are not any kind of „buy cheap – sell expensive“ type of trader,and want to buy things to actualy use them,not sell –
Never buy anything other than faction stuff on contracts and never accept any kind of station direct-trade.
100% of direct trades (you know,trade window – drag-drop,accept) are scam.

@avidlurker man...games come and go,thats the fact. If you like to make completely new frineds twice per year,or even once per year,yes you can.
Otherwise,there is nothing "alien" on gaming community.

Not sure why is there sucha discussion,when you can legaley buy powe in EVE since PLEX introduction..
Only difference is,that you pay it to the players (in form of game-time,not dollars) and not dev. company.

Buy 40x PLEX,sell it to buy-orders on JITA,buy some imba charater,buy a lot of great PvP ships for him - you have more power on your day 1,than most of peoples playing for 3 years

You should not have them all :) but you will have 50 champions or so anyways. And you should not play different champ in every game..
Out of my 50champs,i have 30 or so,that only collect the dust :)
"i cannot have all champions" is the sam like "i cannot train all skills in eve onlin,as it would take me 36years!"...you can buy it with real money,but u wont use them anyways

but season 2 already launched,lol ?:) like 2months ago? i have played 50+ games in season 2ranked already,so iam quite sure about it :)

thre is one more thing....1$ or 1Euro is not the same for everyone..i dont mean Rich kid versus gamer,but lets say gamer in Germany and gamer on Ukraine..both of them work as an IT support,but one is making 2 000 euro and the second 200. That 10times more.

Pay to win started on MMO free shards/emulators such as Ultima,later on Ragnarok and Lineage 2. It was called "Donate" and everyone hated it,and players who used pay2win in any other way than to have Gold name (to support the server) etc,were called noobs,and were quiet about the items they bought with RL cash. Same for "unofficial" gold buyers in WoW etc.

Later on p2win becomes industry standart. It is sick.
