@(Unverified) Not sure where that guy found that it was lobby based, I checked out the game via a pserver and there were no lobbies.

Basically a monster hunter game surrounded by WoW like quests. Every once in a while you get to down a big monster.

It's basically a free version of Tera except much much worse lol.

I'll stick with Tera and Monster Hunter for my big monster fix.

You didn't play Tera very long did you? Probably didn't down any bosses either.

Played the weekend beta to, The game was incredible. Love the boss fights a lot.

Lots of people were really cool in the beta, and because of IGN there were a lot of trolls. But what game doesn't see them these days.

People need to check out Tera and fight bosses around level 20 before they judge this game. Which obviously hasnt been happening much.

EME has my pre-order. Bring on more Tera!

TERA beta videos show crafting, enchanting, Elin creation

I played the closed beta and loved it. Leveled up to their closed beta cap.

The Elin race is just a bunch of cute little people in our version. Nothing sexual about them. They have been modified a lot for our market.

Also its not a grindy game. It feels like it's going to be and then you start fighting world bosses and doing dungeons that are very different than the normal systems you run into in most MMOs.

I had a blast! and this is from someone who plays Monster Hunter most of the time. It was amazing!

The Daily Grind: Did you participate in TERA's first beta weekend?

Feb 13th 2012 10:14AM (Massively)
I LOVED Tera, I recommend it to any and all Monster Hunter fans.

Combat is VERY solid. (I have no idea why people said it was slow paced.) It's fun in PvP and it's even more fun in instances and on world bosses.

The boss fights is where this game shines, You CAN NOT stand around looking at numbers in this game. You WILL get hit even if you're a range just standing around. It's fasted and your whole team better have some decent skill to make it through.

I played as a lancer tank and to me, The entire beta was amazing, and it's just going to get better and better from here on out. especially with the new massive patch coming that raises cap from 58 to 60.

Overall, Game is pre-ordered on my end and I look forward to subscribing for a long long time. =]

Free for All: The still-satisfying world of action MMOs

We need MORE action MMOs. Vindictus isn't fun at all to me because of the overly simplistic combat. But I hate the cartoony look of others...Can't wait until Tera, GW2, and C9 comes out. THEN I'll be happy.

Monster Hunter Tri-G tops 1 million sold in Japan

Monster Hunter is such an amazing game, I'll never ever stop playing it. I am sad about the 3ds only tho....Hopefully it's only a timed exclusive. But I think that's asking too much from Capcom. Seeing on how they have no idea how to market such a great game.
