@FinalFantasyXIIIsucks Perhaps.. but for me, the original Grandia will never even compare to it's sequel as I played it first and is the sole reason I got into RPG's as a kid.
When I did finally get around to playing the first Grandia, it was after I had already played "Extreme" *(3rd game).. so if anything, it lost all it's impact for actually being the first in the series.
Grandia 2 will always stand in my mind, as the best game featuring that title/dev team.
Actually.. uh, most MMO's I play.. the guys are faaar more Asian and girl like.
At that point, there's practically no real difference between picking him or a girl avatar ~ unless there's in-game voice overs/conversations for the story.
Granted the female attire is always fun ta "admire" as your character runs across the battle fields for 30+ hours :3
Personally, I just play whatever I want.. sometimes its good ta pick a "hulking" class and make your character fit into his role by looking the part as you smash any and all opposition ~ the orcs in Warhammer had that appeal to an extent.
lol, after I said that.. I looked at my account options ta see a lack of PMs XD goto my youtube account and send me one there, I'll reply with the code.

I mean sure, it's a bit more advanced and faaar more western.. but after watching 3-4 trailers on the different aspects of the game.. I just can't shake the feeling, I'm gonna find out worlds can be accessed and created via "special word codes". XD
Anywho, this game has definitely made my watch list.. just gotta hope it doesn't turn out ta be nothing but fluff or another 2nd home/life thingy.

Though, it does make me curious bout "improvements" to the UI here on massively ~ anyone that even posts in opposition to a mod usually just gets "white walled" by the community *(deserved or not).
would be nice if that feature was turned off and the only way an article could stand out was if it was "golden" ~ *(upvoted an excessive amount).

Dude, it's nice you like the game.. but it's also common sense to see it can't compete with a real tactics MMO.
Several die hard community members have pledged to make their own RTS/MMO's in the efforts to put the Ankama dev's in their place.
But none of those projects will be finished anytime within the next year.. so unless something was already in the works.. wakfu will STILL be around in a year ~ struggling.. but still present as I doubt it costs much to maintain such a game.
I myself am currnetly working on an Iphone/Android app, using the Unity3D Gaming Engine ~
While it's direct competition wont be Ankama, I'm still willing ta meet ya back here in a year to compare my Indie project, to their *(Square-Enix backed) success story. >:3
btw ~ I'll also be continuing to upload video tutorials for anyone that wants to learn game design/cg animation ^_^.

Mar 12th 2012 2:09PM (Massively)You're not missing much.. the "special thanks vid" is a bout 1:26 long and only 30-40 of that is actual game footage.
They show a fire + arrow = fire arrow, Mesmer's can buff through their mist and zoom outs of WvW ~ catapults hitting castle walls and what not.
Overall, it was a nice gesture.. but it's hardly nothing we haven't seen before.
