SWTOR lifts NDA and reveals Legacy system, new flashpoint, art book

Nov 22nd 2011 11:21PM (Massively)
@(Unverified) I find it strangely ironic you are bashing on players for hating on SWTOR. Then at the same time you are bashing on those exact people.

Grow up please. You like the game great, post about that. Don't have a couple paragraph long rant about "spoiled" players who are complaining about the game. It is their money, and they choose to spend it where they please. Obviously this game isn't for them. You are just falling as low as they are by posting this.

SWTOR lifts NDA and reveals Legacy system, new flashpoint, art book

Yeah I tried the beta and it's just not for me. I'm not really saying it is a bad game, it just fell far away from my expectations. I mean I really expected more from a next gen 2011 MMORPG. Story and good cutscenes isn't enough for me to shell out monthly payments. The quality is good and bugs seem few and far between. It just isn't the game for me. I got into the beta, so I'm not saying this off of watching videos and reading about it. I played, and will play again this upcoming beta test. But for me, it doesn't do it for me. I feel a huge gaping whole in the game that will probably never be filled. Somewhere between boring combat, quests and other weird quirks that annoy me.

Have fun all who have pre-ordered etc. For me, it's back to waiting for Guild Wars 2 ;)

[Updated] Guild Wars 2 Charr plushies on sale now, but you can win one free from Massively!

I'll stay simple. Would love one Rubi (and whoever else is choosing). I am an avid fan of Guild Wars 2 and the plushie would be great for my collection to start. Followed by the games collector edition, hopefully an Asuran plushie in there, and more. The shipping fees for me up in canada is a bit too much for me.

Thanks for the contest Massively and good luck to everyone. The pages are filling fast ;__;

Flameseeker Chronicles: Sylvari week wrap-up

@Ren54 I find it sad that you feel the need to post about a topic you have no knowledge about. Obviously you do not care for Guild Wars 2 and your knowledge is limited. Just don't come on here talking about how SWTOR will be better and that you seem to know all things about Guild Wars 2. I do not go on SWTOR posts and talk about how much Guild Wars 2 will be better and how boring SWTOR looks. I have no beef against SWTOR, it is looking to be fine MMORPG for those that want to enjoy it, I personally do not care for Star Wars and the MMORPG all the same. You will play your game and we will play ours, just don't come here to post negative bullshit.

Thanks!

RuneScape's Clan Citadels puts game design in the hands of players

Wow, this might give me the motivation to jump back into Runescape for a month or two. I have been looking for a reason and this might be it, cool!

Flameseeker Chronicles: This might just work!

That relaxes me a bit too. I have about 4 friends I know for sure will be getting the game with me so it works perfectly. I was just worrying that if one more jumped in we would have to exclude someone, which would suck. So hopefully there are other larger group events (like the dragon fights) that we can participate in together.

The one strong point with ArenaNet is they aren't afraid to admit they are wrong. If there is something wrong they don't mask it or try a quick patch they actually fix it. That will help them greatly with balancing and making the game "complete."

Flameseeker Chronicles: Let's talk business

I think mostly the game needs to be enjoyable, then they can have my time. If it is easy to pick-up again that is an added bonus, and completely relevant to a games success. Otherwise it is just another game lost in the sands of time, or something along the lines...
