@Russell Clarke

How many years do you think it will take for a free to play game (Not this one) to sell scrolling advertising space on players backs (i.e.: NASCAR uniforms)?

Casual Player
Hardcore Player
Competitive
Carebear
Raider
Time-restrictive Player
Skilled and unskilled
Dudebro

The list of terms goes on, but why is there a need in the gaming community to cram multiple descriptions into one-size fits all word? Let the unique words stand on their own, and stop grouping all of these adjectives under one inaccurate label.

I am a casual player, in the sense that I play games as a casual activity.

I am a hardcore dad, and that is my profession.

I am also a Carebear, in that I am literally a fuzzy bear with rainbows on my belly.

World of Warplanes is adding dragons for that extra kick of historical accuracy

@Pelti

I 100% agree. Even if its just PVE warplane fight for one mission, I think it would be very cool to engage a flying dragon with an assault of warplanes.

The Mittani gets hit with ban and resigns in wake of EVE Online controversy

@logi120 "every time the put it on the braking news updates......
it just seems like they WANT controversy"

The news on this story requires updates, why post the initial story if you dont have any follow up? Massively is simply reporting the latest information available. Its the users that generate the controversy you disagree with.

"The eve player has learned his lesson alright"

In my opinion he has not. Read his post resigning the position of CSM. It does not indicate the Fanfest, he clearly states that the position of CSM interfered with his ability to operate as the Goonswarm leader. That isnt why he should quit.

The MIttani did not resign because of his statements at Fanfest. He resigned because it conflicted with his leadership of Goonswarm, and their philosophy of ruthlessness.

He doesn't care about what he did, he cares about business as usual ingame. If you don't believe me, read his post linked below.

CCP did not go far enough and their actions towards this player clearly violating ToS, either you break the rules or you don't.

@logi120

Massively is reporting news about a game... which is what they are supposed to do.

Users are free to speak their mind and you can vote them up or down all you want. Just because you don't like the follow up comments by the users, doesn't mean its Massively's words.

@AnathemaOne

I 100% agree, their statement was lacking of any true apology and it shows how they act, and how they want their players to act. Their punishment was no punishment at all, and I make a vow today never to put a single penny into the coffers of CCP.
