Mar 30th 2012 5:32AM (Massively)Great reply. I would like to add that they came out and stated a long time ago that they only want to add cloaks if they can make them look good.
By that I can only assume they mean simulating actual fabric, which actually does impact most CPUs quite hard, especially in a scenario where there are 20+ players with capes, particle effects and a bunch of NPCs.

In one of the new dew video one can clearly see the next patches are: 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11
So no 2.0 after 1.9. Still, they bring in so much content (at least one full new zone soon)... and frankly, i'm happy that we don't need to pay for extra expansions.
