No. Learned my lesson with Age of Conan. Not only was the game not worth the regular edition, but I remember opening up the map and spreading it out on the table when I sat down to play the game for the first time. Later realized the entire game was zoned and instanced making the map completely pointless.

Waste of money. Now not only do I not order CE's but I don't pre-order either and I'll only get a game if there is a post-launch free trial.

If I could pay Blizz for a private server, then it would be fun to have my kid and a bunch of his friends and their parents play WoW together, otherwise no.

@Misterlee I'm not talking about virtual dress up, I'm referring to character development, which in the context of and RPG includes appearance. If that is meaningless to you you can play with a whole mess of people in a console style multiplayer game, and if appearances don't matter, what does it matter if its persistent?

I think if looks don't matter then why play an mmorpg? Why not just stick to console type multiplayer games?

There's your money quote. I wasn't planning on coming back until AFTER they fix things, not just because they say they are going to fix things anyway but that quote justifies it even more.

As far as Dust goes, I was excited for it until I heard it was going to be cash shop driven. Lost all interest there. And what I want to see is since EvE and Dust will be connected, what impact Dust will have on EvE's economy.

I find it hard to imagine playing a SW mmo after SWG (pre-nge). We'll see.

They should save the discount until after they actually come through on their promises to induce people to see that they did it. A discounted price of a game I don't want to play is still too much to pay.

When the actions are reality people will come back at full price.
