The Daily Grind: Should big guilds have a mechanical advantage over smaller ones?

RIFT players set record for most in-game weddings in one day
Feb 16th 2012 7:54PM (Massively)Also, they should rename their record of "The Most In-game Marriages" to "The Most In-game Gay Marriages."
The ratio of men to women is nowhere near equal in the gaming community. Just saying.

Feb 16th 2012 7:51PM (Massively)Glad Trion supports it.
Star Wars: The Old Republic beta test attracts 2 million players
Dec 6th 2011 1:08AM (Massively)Yeah, but just because they post them on youtube doesn't mean that you have watch them does it? Honestly if people aren't interested in story don't play it and watch the videos on youtube. For those of us who want to play the game and enjoy it, go ahead on Dec 20th or when early access is available.
'Little risk of failure': Analysts predict SWTOR will turn a healthy profit
Dec 1st 2011 11:13PM (Massively)Hmm, I don't think you were ever in the mood with other MMOs since SWTOR is just like them. If you don't like SWTOR then you most certainly didn't like WoW or Rift or War or StarTrek or SWG or CityofHeroes etc etc.

The only reason you hate the mechanics of SWTOR is because one, you haven't gotten past level 20+ most likely or two, you haven't developed a rotation yet with you class.
Played a Jedi Guardian to level 33 and enjoyed it very much so. With many more abilities at that level I was constantly attacking without any complaints or lack there of.
I would rather feel comfortable with the mechanics, which I did, than to have something completely new. But if you are having a hard time or don't like the mechanics in SWTOR it's going to be hard pill to swallow when new combat mechanics come out for other future MMOs/Games in general when you can't grasp such a familiar combat style.
The Daily Grind: Have the post-NDA testimonials changed your mind about SWTOR?
Nov 23rd 2011 3:16PM (Massively)You're wrong. Look at Rift. They had beta testing and new builds after new builds before release and had little bugs when it launched back in March of 2011.
The Daily Grind: Have the post-NDA testimonials changed your mind about SWTOR?
Nov 23rd 2011 3:13PM (Massively)Yes because comparing the polishing of a game that has been around for 7 years versus one that hasn't even been launched makes a good comparison. Wow you sure are a smart troll.

Nov 23rd 2011 3:08PM (Massively)What build did you test? The first one? Lawl. Everyone knows that the first build isn't the one you judge a game on. It's usually the 2nd to last build or the last build itself before the actual release client. Shows how much you know about how beta testing works. Of course it's going to suck on the first 2 to 3 builds, for someone like you who is ignorant and just wants spill his rant about biased opinion on the web. You have little to know clue what the game is like as of Nov 11. There has been many improvements thus far and with the new build for this weekend it will have bug fixes and other in-game improvements.
If you're going to rant, have some actual clue as to what the build is at this point in the game and not just make up lies to back up your claim that this game is a fail. You are no analysis, you are not the one making the game, you are not the one making reviews for websites like IGN, Massively, etc. You're just a disgruntled person looking to hate something.
SWTOR lifts NDA and reveals Legacy system, new flashpoint, art book
Nov 18th 2011 9:33PM (Massively)Everyone knows that the negativity, which by the way is usually only the 5-10% of the those playing hate it, only increases as the game gets closer to launch. Seen it in the RIFT forums, WoW forums etc... Nothing new, but people who think that their opinions make a difference in the vast majority of players is ignorant and wrong. People made crude remarks about RIFT and look how well it did after launch. Whether you agree or disagree, only until the game is officially out in stores that we will see how it holds up.
SWTOR beta participants log one meeeeellion hours of testing
Nov 16th 2011 4:33PM (Massively)Could be the more ethical thing to do by not talking about something that hasn't come out yet? Rather than making a comment that there is no secret? And I highly doubt it would take a few days to get all 200hrs of gameplay story on to youtube, get real.
