New Guild Wars 2 blog post discusses the Sylvari Soul

@Nyghtsaber

I personally love the look of the males. They look slim, agile and fast.

I dislike the fact that most male models in other games seem to go for the broad shoulder overly muscular body form. I just never could relate to that and always rolled a female character instead.

For once I may actually role a male character as my main. \m/

The Daily Grind: Would you be as excited for Guild Wars 2 if it were a subscription game?

Jul 6th 2011 8:31AM (Massively)
A sub has never really put me on or off an MMO. It has always been will I enjoy the game. Do I like the world it has created. How is the social side of the game. So far I can say I love the look of the world and I like what I am hearing from a game play perspective. So yes currently I would sub to try it out and continue with a sub for it if I enjoyed it. So no, if they announced today that they are moving to a subscription model I would still be as excited as I am now :)

Elrond is in the last homely house in rivendell. You also meet him at the start if you choose elf.

I think the above would make a reasonable adiction as a race without stretching the lore at all. They may even have a shape shifting skill since we know Beorn's decendants live amongs them and we know Beorn's son can shape shift as well.

Beornings

"Men, living in the vales of the river Anduin. They were descendants of the Edain or their close kin, related to the Northmen of Rhovanion (and therefore the Rohirrim) and the Bardings of Dale. After the WotR they were given the major part of ErynLasgalen.

At the time of the WotR Beorn was their leader, though - as a skinchanger - he was probably not representative for the Beornings in general. The Beornings aided Aragorn in his search for Gollum late in the Third Age.

Beornings were famed for their honey-cakes. "

The Daily Grind: What class would you add to your MMO?

Mar 8th 2011 9:36AM (Massively)
A debuff fighter. As he melee fights he adds different debuffs to targets either aoe or single target. Debuffs stays only on for a few seconds so to keep it up the character has to stay engaged.
