Blade & Soul nearing commercial release, adding Summoner class

Mar 23rd 2012 12:03PM (Massively)
I thought this game was cool back when they did that first 15 min trailer, but now that they added that summoner class... I will be playing for at least a month!

The Daily Grind: What would make you cancel a pre-order?

Mar 23rd 2012 12:02PM (Massively)
I would cancel the preorder if they removed pre-order/pre-purchase bonuses. Then I would just buy it online to get the game faster.

The Daily Grind: Do social media tie-ins annoy you?

It's not that big of a deal. If you have a facebook, why wouldn't you like Guild Wars 2? IF you don't have one, then wait 20 mins and someone will upload the video to youtube.

The Daily Grind: Do you try to grab names on launch?

Apple and Microsoft join Nintendo et al in support of Internet-censorship bill

Nov 21st 2011 4:33AM (Joystiq)
@HissingNewt I do agree that there needs to be a better way to show proof of ownership, but for the ones that do own something out right and upload it to places like YouTube, it shouldn't matter because it is yours and you can show proof that it is. I was talking about the people that upload games (it should include YouTube partners/other sites with similar programs that have posted "let's play" or guide videos), movies, tv shows, music, applications, software, or books that clearly are not theirs. I shouldn't be able to search Youtube and find users that have uploaded all the songs from Florence and The Machine's new album. So yes, they should be held responsible, and so should the users that do it. Incase they are not, they should bring back similar sites, like Napster, and give back the money the music companies sued for.

Apple and Microsoft join Nintendo et al in support of Internet-censorship bill

I don't agree with the bill 100%, but I do agree that something needs to be done with this sites that allow people do get content without paying for it. Instead of shutting down a site for have a clip of tv show or movie, spend your time on trying to get sites like Pirate bay blocked, or making sites, like Media Fire, more accountable for files they are hosting for download.

G-Star 2011: NCsoft announces Lineage Eternal

Nov 8th 2011 3:48PM (Massively)
@UnknownVoice That is still a huge difference. I can't think of any MMO's that have done this, but if you look at other games, such as Halo Reach, Dragon Age: Awakening, maybe Fallout: New Vegas, and almost all the Kingdom Hearts games; they all have a story in common with their other games, but are not a set number. If NCsoft wanted a Lineage 3, I am sure they would have titled it "Lineage 3: Eternal - Twilight Resistance," but they didn't. That is why it is third in a series, and not the number three. (Story wise: L2, L1, L:E, L3.) (Release wise: L1,L2,L:E..)
