World of Tanks sets Guinness World Record

Feb 24th 2011 11:19AM (Massively)
How do they handle massive fight lag ?

CCP staff does't seem to be able to handle 1000 vs 1000, or even 500 vs 500 sometimes....

Behind the Mask: I want to be with this game forever and ever

Jan 28th 2011 7:50AM (Massively)
@Averice

For what it worth, I totally agree with your point of view, micro transactions tends to put the money thing right "inside" the game, and I hate it, it completely turns me off. I DON'T want to have feel like I am in an IRL shop while playing online.

15 bucks / month and let me enjoy the game, no bullshit, no micro-transactions shit please.

The Daily Grind: What's the most ridiculous microtransaction you've seen?

@Tazmanyak
Yes, I don't get how it is possible to ask subscriber to pay even more like that...

Micro transactions in a f2p mmo seems ok, but it is a shame when you are actually paying a monthly subscription.

DC Universe Online: Launch-day roundup

Jan 11th 2011 11:47AM (Massively)
Putting there as well my post from the other thread, looking for help :

Well, I am in EU, I preordered the game through Direct2drive, downloaded and installed it, and I have no clue how to "subscribe" to it....

I am trying to find this out on the official website, and on the SOE website, and I have no clue about it...

What a damn crappy system seriously, no more intel given to the customer after having said '"you need to register your key". What should I do next....?

I may retry it one of these days then...

The Daily Grind: What's the longest you've ever played in one sitting?

Jan 7th 2011 9:26AM (Massively)
5 or 6 years ago, I used to organise lan parties at home, and we used to play during 20-24 hours straight, to a lot of different games : Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Warcraft 3...

Ahh, the good old days....

@Sean D
Wow, impressive... that's a shame..... Seriously, I hate this system, how is it possible to tell a guy paying a sub "Yes, you need to pay MORE to get this upgrade, I don't care about your sub"...

I hate this....T_T

DC Universe Online closes its beta with a bang

Jan 5th 2011 11:43AM (Massively)
Hum, I live in Europe, play to the beta, and never cared so far about the region server thing. Does the lack of current European Servers means that the PC version won't be sold in Europe ?

I don't really care as long as I can play in good condition to the US one, I was just wondering...

EVE Evolved: Dealing with a war declaration

Jan 3rd 2011 5:02AM (Massively)
@Skyydragonn : Yes, I started to play it a little more than one year ago, and I kept most of my first month just reading, grinding the official wiki articles, going from websites to websites, learning and learning and learning...

Eve Online is the most complex and deep game I have ever seen.
