exclusive cosmetic items in the cash shop isn't incentive to the very large female player base of guild wars? whaaaaaaat? That's like saying the sparkle pony in WoW wasn't bought by anyone.
except all gear is standardised, any level 80 gear they buy will be statistically the same as any level 80 gear someone buy's from an NPC vendor or any gear they craft. they'll just look different :O LOOKING DIFFERENT IS P2W!!111!!!! Lets not be stupid ok?
Only if you're actually farming.....I dunno why anyone farms for gold, Go to the auction house, find out what sells at a consistent pace, buy anything below X and resell it, log out go to bed, all sold. Repeat. Just need to factor in tax and stuff but it's generally really easy to manipulate the economy a tiny bit and earn huge for very little effort overall.
Or that some of us haven't know since an early alpha leak showing a picture of gems and a screen shot of the alpha forums on gems, didn't assume something like this system was coming months ago.
there is no best gear. all gear at 80 is the same, it's just the look's that different. What you can buy at a vendor at 80 or craft at 80 has the same stats as any rare gear at 80, the only thing that differs between them is their looks.
