Why I Play: EVE Online
Mar 28th 2012 1:29PM (Massively)That's the problem with EVE though. Mar 27th 2012 3:53AM (Massively)The Daily Grind: How many games have you committed to in your gaming history?
Mar 25th 2012 3:09PM (Massively)FFXI has been my favorite MMO to date because I just a had a blast with it when I first started but it only lasted about 6 months at which point I tell people I quit to play WoW...but truth be told I was like 18 at the time and still living with my parents so they still had a fair amount of control over me...they made me quit. After about a month or two I was invited into the WoW beta. If my parents hadn't forced me to quit though I think I would have stuck with the game...I really did enjoy it. Unfortunately my taste in games have changed and even though I've tried many times to get back into FFXI it just hasn't worked out.
So long story short, I haven't committed to any game but I was committed to FFXI in spirit.

Mar 22nd 2012 1:39PM (Massively)Also, most items in FFXI aren't really necessary...in most MMOs each armor tier is a large boost to your stats but most of the gear in FFXI is either a modest boost or very specialized (such as the elemental staves).
