@real65rcncom I know. Trolling is a lost art. This seemed more like a shoddy drive-by troll.

Awesome! I'm so glad I pre-ordered the pre-purchase. CE no less. No food for me this summer, but at least I will be able to make my dream of having Peewee Herman running around Tyria come true!

What? There are no cinemas in Tyria, are there?

The Soapbox: Casual is as casual does

@(Unverified) Your examples of language mistakes have absolutely nothing to with the topic at hand. All your examples are about people being misinformed or uneducated, yes. But look into it a bit more and you'll find the whole casual/hardcore debate has been raging since the dawn of MMOs because no two people can agree on the meaning of the words. It has nothing to do with spelling or the effects of Chinese whispers. Nobody is misspelling the words "hardcore" and "casual". We just can't agree on their definitions.

Which makes the whole argument moot, and it will therefore rage on and, in this case, more than likely culminate in a massive comment thread filled with people saying "yes, it is" and "no, it isn't".

@SnarlingWolf "It is an easy to understand term and always has been."

No, it isn't and no, it hasn't. The problem with this whole argument is that there are as many definitions of casual/hardcore as there are MMO players. There has never been a consensus about the definitions, and I doubt very much there will ever be.
