The Daily Grind: Would you pay extra for a filtered community?

Personally probably not unless it was cheap. But I do like the concept and if there is profit to be made from it then by all means.

The three months of gold status in EQ 1 and 2 was nice. I know it is just to hope they will go get addicted to those games instead, but still nice.

i had debated about coming into this game before, but then sony made some announcement that made it sound like they werent going to make any more updates for the game. there was probaly enough content to enjoy for awhile so maybe i should of still gave it a chance. Now it sounds like they will be giving it a team of developers again so i'm interested. Now the only problem is I fell invested in too many mmorpgs. I wish they had done this switch awhile ago.

I am hoping that the species unlock is just a little bit more then having a different skin. My main thought is that if I start playing a pure blood sith as a republic class then people should react to me as such. People should be surprised that I am a republic sith and there should be some encounters of prejudice. Its not a game breaker for me or anything.

The Daily Grind: Would you buy a system for one game?

i would say that is the point of exclusive games. each console tries to have some great game that the only way you can ever play it is to get their system.

i have never really understood the interest of this game on computers. i think on a mobile device its fine, but there are deeper free to play mmos out there that you can plan on your computer. Although i will say I haven't considered people who use laptops and might want their MMO to have lower system requirements. Then again isn't Everquest Mac going free? That has to be a better choice than this one and have low system requirements.

Hyperspace Beacon: Making sense of Legacy

Unfortunately I started putting my light and dark side characters on two different servers. Mostly I started it to avoid the big server lineup when the game first came out. I'll have to do something different if I want to take the light/dark races to the other force side. I wouldn't mind it being an account wide thing instead of server.

@edgecrusherO0

It doesn't have to be 'either or" but people seem to adore one title and despise all others similar ones for some reason. I would rather games were less seen as better or worse then another game and more in just games I enjoyed or didn't.

Clone Wars Adventures hits 10 million player milestone

@Dunraven

Well I have been on the opinion that the more casual it is the higher the numbers of accounts will be. This one is very casual oriented since it is a mini-game collection essentially. But congrats to the game and I hope that it serves as a starting point for people to get into more immersive MMOs out there too.

DUST 514 beta starts in April, gameplay video released at GDC

I am curious to see if this does cause people to start playing the main game. Will having fun in a FPS make you curious enough to try the other out or are they just two different to share audiences? At any rate I like this concept of two separate games having effects on each other.
