I grief because it's fun. The simple fact is in eve the general understanding is, if you can't evade me, escape me, or destroy me, then you don't deserve to survive against me.

It's not some strange social contract where everyone is supposed to be helpful to an extent in the real world. You see, in the real world, if I kill you, it matters.

Most people would otherwise ignore you in eve if they didn't expect you to be out to get them at every turn, and honestly, that's how it is quite often in the real world.

My best friends in eve online are one's I've killed, and spoken to later and asked 'do you know what you did wrong?'.

Your characterization of eve players as sociopaths while hiding behind a quasi-censored straight edged facade is myopic at best. You really can't see past the blur of the tears clearly induced by being the victim of such 'sociopaths'. Relax, play your video game, and if you don't like one of the few games where players are ENCOURAGED to shoot each other, then go to one where there isn't pvp at all.
