My horse in EverQuest was probably the fastest mount I've ever owned. You could barely control the thing at top speed. But my favorite mount would have to be my giant yellow ant from Vanguard, that guy was just cool.

This is basically how I feel as well. He says a lot of things that sound really cool, like jumping out of a window and landing in an RV that people are driving. It sounds good in theory, but even triple-A titles don't have this capacity without some sort of cut-scene.

Also, while I was reading Foge's post, it just felt like he kept slapping anyone that has ever enjoyed a good game of D&D.

Well, if Undead Labs can pull off Foge's vision, then I'm sure there will be an audience. Only time will tell...

I do miss my adventures through Telon. I do recommend Tomb of Lord Tsang, it truly is an epic low level dungeon.

In EverQuest I was a woodelf druid. We were on a Naggy raid (who is a dragon), in which you have to fight through a dungeon full of fire giants to get to. Once we killed all the fire giants, we set up just outside Naggy's Lair and I bound my character there so I could get back into the action quick if I ended up dying. After Naggy ate the whole raid for lunch (and then dinner) I spawned at my bound spot only to find out that the fire giants had started to respawn on top of me. Thus started a cycle of: fire giants kill me, load screen, respawn by fire giants, fire giants kill me. This went on about 25 times before I managed to /quit

Low and behold, after all was said and done, there was 2 piles of corpses, one for the raid, and one just for me.

I lost about 2 levels that night, even after all the cleric rezzes. Good times...
