A lot of controversy around Wakfu's money shop ,boutique, at the moment. They promised cosmetic only, rolled out +win items on day one. Does this ring any bells for anyone? :)
Major issue with Wakfu for me: - EXTREMELY limited storage space. A little chest with 5 spaces and 20 spaces personal storage is not really suitable for 16 professions, tools, sets of armour and whatnot. (the upgrades for storage are pathetic too).
- Removal of customisable pet Gemlin. Achievements system provided upgrades for this pet which gave you bonuses: +hp, prospecting, etc. It was a nice way to further improve the stats on your char. A month or so before the release Ankama removes Gemlin customisation and rolls out the usual boring Dofus pets.
I have played open beta and can not see what you found is broken about it. It's a sandbox grinder same as Dofus. Wakfu is not small.
I've got to lvl13 on Xelor, didn't want to waste my time further because of the wipe at start. What I found really refreshing in Wakfu is that you can plant things not just kill them. I got to lvl20 lumberjack by just running around taking cuttlings and replanting them. (I might have found my hippy place in MMOs)
Ogrines will be used to get more game time using an in-game currency like in Dofus. (http://www.dofus.com/en/ogrines). Similar to EVE timecodes i guess.
SOE answers Vanguard free-to-play questions
Mar 28th 2012 7:38AM (Massively)You are always asked of you want to start on the Isle of Dawn or in your normal race starter zone. No one has removed that option.

TERA launching May 1st in North America [Updated]
Jan 17th 2012 7:19PM (Massively)1. Too late for TERA. I was expecting it to be out long time ago which led to number 2.
2. Too late because I am fed up with KILLING stuff in MMOs.
I'll stick with Wakfu for now and do loads of digital tree planting.
