The Daily Grind: Which MMO doesn't get the respect it deserves?

Apr 3rd 2012 6:05PM (Massively)
@AstralEcho Are you out of your mind? Rift has made a myriad of patches almost on a bi-monthly (every two month) basis with loads of content, events, bug fixes and dozens of hot fixes with almost zero turn around time and never, ever late.

Do you want to try that about FFXIV's amazing patches bit again?

@Monkey D Luffy You do not understand how press works. Massively (and any other news outlet) has to submit questions to SE's people and they will approve or deny the questions to be asked. That's why you never see SE being asked uncomfortable questions like "WHAT THE F HAS BEEN GOING ON OVER HERE THE PAST FIVE YEARS?!?" because they would never agree to put themselves up to that level of scrutiny. That's why everything is fluff.

Sorry, I don't subscribe to the "Pay me for a hamburger today that I'll give you tomorrow" school of business. I'll wait for 2.0, which I highly doubt will even be on time.

@kimowar They already HAD a mass exodus. The only people left are the ones who would stay and pay no matter the state of the game.

@Omali The Market Wards aren't linked, so you'd need a mule for each city to make it anything close to convenient to use those wrecked Wards.

I'm not paying for a game in-development. End of story.
